My beautiful Grandaughter and a new LO :)

Hi there... Today, I have the most adorable photos to show you... My son Samuel, and his beautiful partner, Sharnee had a baby girl in February... We are all so excited about this..  We have lots of boys in our family, I have 1 daughter, and 4 sons, and my daughter has 3 sons, so, the birth of a little girl , and all that goes along with that, is just awesome.. I cannot wait to start scrapping some little girl layouts. I think I have used every single photo I have of my daughter at least twice each over the years (probably more)  so am very excited to have a new 'model' to scrap..
Here are just a few beautiful photos of our beautiful little girl.. London Ellen

I also have a layout to share, which I did for Kaisercraft a little while back.This photo is of little London's mummy, and Daddy..

A fun layout using all my favourite techniques..  Lots of fussy cutting, ink, stamping, and handmade flowers, made from cardstock, and water  :)

Thanks for calling in today..  I have more projects to share with you, in  a week or 2, so be sure to call back in then. PLUS, I have some news about our upcoming Scrapping with the stars retreat... but, more on that soon..
Take care everyone, and have a wonderful week

A few of my favourite things

Hi everyone,
Today, I want to share with you a few of my favourite projects I've done over the past little while. I am trying to sneak under the radar with the fact that this is my Prima DT application.. arrgghhh..
* * *
The first 3 are projects I haven't shared before. They all have 1 thing in common, lots of Prima loveliness.

Firstly, I got me some of the gorgeous new Prima Butterfly collection.. (papers, chipboard and flowers) All of which I adore. I made a cute little tag.

Below, is a layout I did for Scrapbooking Ideas Magazine.. The magazine hits the shelves today. The photo is of our 2014 Scrapping with the stars retreat. I adore these Prima flowers, they make creating a project so easy.. All the hard work, of arranging the flowers perfectly is done for you. you simply stick em on  :)

Below, 2 lovely scrappy friends, at the Brisbane Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo in 2013. Sue Smyth on the right (editor of Scrapbooking memories magazine), and Jane Tregenza on the left  :) ... More Prima goodies.

* * *
The following are just a few of my favourites... (OK, maybe more than just a few)
The Prima Sun Kiss range would have to be one of my all time favourites. Perfect for our farming background, but still suits my shabby, girly style too.

A mini album I did for my daughters 21st...

Sun Kiss again

Another favorite.. Prima Madeline.. I have a stash of this still, it is in my 'too good to cut up' box.. Please tell me there are others out there who do this.

 A 3D canvas I did titled 'A garden walk'.. so much fun to make

I didn't realise how often I use my Prima brick stamp !!  Definitely one of my faves Id say  :)

I had a bit of a play with Mixed media for this metal box.. Lots of ink, paint, rusting powder, metal, and even some salt.

Had some fun with Prima chalk inks here. I just love the soft look these chalk inks give.

Prima chalk ink again.

 Well, thank you and well done to those of you that are still here. That was one looong post. I have more favourites than I thought. Please please leave me a comment, so I know you were here  :)
Have a wonderful week.

Feeling rather proud of myself :) :)

Hi again... I just had to call in and share this really cool news. Australian Scrapbook Ideas magazine came out this week, and I am so stoked to say, I have 7 projects published this month. a HUGE THANK YOU to the magazine for the opportunity. I did a 'tried and tested' feature on the Brother 'Scan N Cut', and I was also the 'ask the expert' for this issue... I tell my husband all the time that I am an 'expert', and now I have proof.. lol..

* * *
Here are the projects I did for the Brother feature.
This photo makes me smile... Its of all the wonderful ladies who attended our 'Scrapping with the stars retreat' in November 2014. I've used lots of gorgeous Prima flowers, and of course the Brother Scan N Cut to make the majority of the embellishments. The magazine explains in detail how I made all of the following layouts.

My Dad hates this photo. He says it makes him look like an 'old fart' lol...   But, I love it.

This next one is a photo of myself, with 2 immensely talented ladies.. Jane Tregenza, and Sue Smyth, the editor of Australian Scrapbook Ideas magazine. More gorgeous Prima flowers, and more cool ways to use the Scan N Cut.
Lastly, an envelope card. I make these quite a lot. they are really easy to make, and look really cool, I think.
Ok, well, that's if for today. Thanks as always for taking to time to call in, and especially, for leaving me a comment. I am going on holidays on Wednesday, over to our beach holiday house in South Australia... So, I will have fairly good internet.. WOO HOO..  I am looking forward to having some time to visit all my favourite scrappy peoples blogs  :)
Have an amazing week, and I will 'see' you again soon

Its been a loooong time

Hello all my gorgeous bloggy friends. (Im am hopeful there are some of you still around, who haven't tired of my lack of activity of late). For those few who are still around, you have probably been wondering where I have been.. Well, no where, really, and Ive done nothing very exciting either. I guess, I just needed a bit of a break from it all. Organising the Scrapping with the stars retreat last November was HUGE. It was fabulous, and I loved every minute of it, but, the amount of organising that goes in to such a big event, was all consuming for a few months there. Add to that, my DT commitments, and LIFE, I just got a little burned out, and just needed to take a few months off to re group. I feel I have done that now, and am totally ready to jump back in to this wonderful crafty world we all love so much...
* * *
I have a couple of projects to share, which I did a little while back. Both have been published in magazines lately.
This first one was published in Scrapbooking Memories magazine. Cute photos of my beautiful daughter Ashlee, when she was about 11  :)
* * *
This next one, was done for Australia Scrapbook Ideas magazine. Starring my youngest, Harry...

Thanks to those who didn't give up on me. I plan on making a blog post every week from now on (please don't hold me to that), So, I will be back soon, with more to share...
Have a wonderful week, and weekend, and I will be back soon xoxox

I made the cover :)

Hi friends..
Well, I'm just a little bit excited...  My layout made the cover of Australian Scrapbook Ideas magazine this month.. woo hoo.. This is the second time I've been fortunate enough to have one of my layouts featured on the cover, and both times, its been photos of my daughter, Ashlee.
This is the full pic of the layout.. One of my last for Graphic 45 design team
And, below, is my layout that was featured on the cover of the same magazine, a couple of years ago..
The original layout had a black and white photo, but, the magazine prefers colour photos for the cover (tip for anyone wanting to increase their chances of being published on a cover).
Thanks so much for visiting, I will be back soon, to share the other 2 layouts I made for the same issue of the magazine, all featuring the latest graphic 45 paper collections xo
