Hi my dear bloggy friends,
Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has sent me messages wishing me well after my spinal surgery. I am 6 weeks post op now, and doing great. I'm still very limited in what I can and cant do, for another 6 weeks, but, I am healing really well, with hardly any pain. The partial paralysis in my foot, and weakness in my leg has improved by about 90% already, and should be 100% better within 6 to 12 months :)... The only problem is... I have gained about 6 kgs in the 4 months since I hurt my back, which im so annoyed about... Why is weight so hard to lose, yet, so easy to gain?..
OK, enough about me, on to sharing a layout I did recently for Scrapbook Ideas Magazine. I have recently been asked to do a few of their monthly colour challenges.. I LOVED this one. So bright, and colourful. I decided on a rainbow layout. I've used mainly white Manor House Creations flowers, and white cardstock for the banners and title letters, and coloured them all using Lindys stamp gang inks.
I printed the title directly onto my photo using my Photoshop elements programme.
A little reminder for those thinking about attending our retreat, there are still a few places left, both for the weekend stay and for the day stay option. And for those who are attending, there are only very limited places left in all 3 of our classes, so be quick if you are thinking about doing one of all of them.
See the post below for sneak peeks of the classes
